Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring to supervise hatchery production, oversee egg pickup, inventory, and chick production at the lowest possible cost. The role entails directing a workforce, hiring and training staff, and maintaining accurate records while enforcing safety and bio-security programs.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong interpersonal skills, and solid computer skills. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive hourly pay and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hatchery baby chicks.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and direct the workforce.
• Hire and train personnel.
• Monitor safety rules and regulations.
• Set schedules and oversee hatchery operations.
• Ensure safe working environment and cost control.
• Oversee healthy chick production for broiler growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
