Qualifications

• Fluent English skills to read/understand written instructions and communicate problems to supervisors.
• Accurate arithmetic skills to calculate weights, fills, etc.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and disassemble/assemble equipment using hand tools.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment and read gauges/touch screens.

Responsibilities

• Ensures raw materials are correct and transferred to kitchen machinery per recipes and batch records.
• Operates HMI touch screen systems to control equipment and make real-time adjustments.
• Conducts hourly quality checks on colors, flavors, weight, appearance, pH, BRIX, and temperatures.
• Performs changeovers between products and cleans/disassembles/reassembles equipment as needed.
• Maintains sanitation, safety, and HACCP standards across the gummy operation.
