Job summary

MeriCal in Ogden, UT is seeking a detail-oriented MFG Gummy Line Operator to set up, run, and monitor the gummy production line, including the kettle, depositor, and cooling tunnel. You will troubleshoot issues and ensure processes comply with cGMP standards, SOPs, and Master Batch Records to maintain high-quality production.

You’ll need to stand for 90% of the shift and may lift up to 50 lbs, while documenting batches, labeling, and logs to keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Certificate or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to follow written instructions including Manufacturing batch records, Safety policies, and Quality requirements.
• Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure or weigh raw materials for usage following Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR).
• Operate gummy manufacturing line including adding and mixing raw materials, ensuring proper process flow and in-process measurements.
• Monitor cooking process with emphasis on pH and brix readings.
• Spread final product across drying trays and visually inspect gummies for quality acceptance.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and production room.
• Operate and maintain tray washing machine.
