Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to monitor and mitigate security risks across global operations. The role supports a 24/7/365 function with a night shift (11:00 pm ET–8:00 am ET) on a Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday schedule.

The analyst drafts notifications, collaborates with global security teams, supports crisis management, and briefs executives. A bachelor’s degree plus 1–3 years in corporate or governmental security is preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate or governmental security
• Familiarity with global risk intelligence tools and incident response protocols
• Experience with emergency mass notification and travel risk management systems is advantageous
• Ability to analyze open-source information critically
• Proficiency in professional communication, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor worldwide events and identify those impacting personnel, assets, and operations
• Draft and review concise notifications for decision-makers and security leaders
• Collaborate with cross-functional global security professionals for 24/7 operations
• Support crisis management and coordinate incident escalations and communications
• Track risks to executives during travel and provide briefings to security leaders
• Conduct after-action reviews and identify lessons learned and best practices
• Work with Global Security teams and vendors; interface with Protective Services and Systems & Technology teams
