• Develop and implement department business plans and promotions.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for the sales and merchandising supervisor.
• Implement promotional plans and stay current with ads.
• Monitor and control department expenses and assist in budget reviews.
• Maintain inventory awareness and note discrepancies.
• Schedule price changes and manage inventory process.
• Train on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
• Report safety issues or illegal activity.
