Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for on-site night shift in Clayton, NC. The role supports critical manufacturing operations, performs hands-on activities, in-process testing, and documentation to ensure cGMP compliance and product quality.

The technician will assist with process improvements, maintain safety and regulatory standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. Prior GMP/pharma experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment or 1–3 years with a science bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ year GMP warehouse/pharma experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP operations and SOPs.
• Ability to read and execute written instructions and SOPs.
• Basic math and metric system familiarity.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day manufacturing activities per cGMPs and procedures.
• Set up, operate, and monitor equipment and processes in the area.
• Accurately document all manufacturing steps and data.
• Support in-process activities and product development tasks as directed.
• Incorporate process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Validate area equipment and processes per procedures.
• Conduct in-process product testing for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production needs.
