Job summary

Actalent is hiring a team of Lab Technicians/Manufacturing Technicians for the night shift in Boca Raton, FL. This contract-to-hire role works in a GMP/FDA-regulated manufacturing facility with cleanroom, labs, and warehouse spaces.

You will perform production operations, operate ultrafiltration and chromatography equipment, take samples, complete batch records, and support inventory and training. The position emphasizes compliance with SOPs, cGMP documentation, safety, and teamwork, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in a large-scale GMP environment with SOPs and cGMP documentation practices preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing environments preferred.
• Plasma fractionation or purification experience is a plus.
• Experience operating ultrafiltration and chromatography equipment.
• Familiarity with inspection activities and general GMP tasks.
• Ability to manage stressors and attend to multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment to maintain cleanroom standards.
• Perform production operations in a GMP-regulated setting according to SOPs.
• Make and verify connections on flow panels to support purification and production.
• Perform pH and conductivity measurements.
• Prepare and perform chemical and buffer additions per batch instructions.
• Operate ultrafiltration and purification equipment.
• Initiate processes including chromatography operations.
• Take and prepare product samples with proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain raw material inventories and coordinate replenishment.
• Complete batch records accurately and timely per cGMP practices.
• Assist in training other technicians by supporting the Group Leader.
• Follow GMP and FDA cleaning/sanitization procedures.
• Carry out general production and material handling tasks.
• Use calipers and measuring tools as needed.
• Communicate with teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
• Stand, kneel, lift, and move materials daily.
• Investigate inventory/delivery discrepancies with systems and reports.
• Support after-hours/weekend work as needed.
