Job summary

Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Equipment Specialist II to maintain, calibrate, and repair equipment across cGMP manufacturing, labs, and warehouse spaces.

This 3rd shift role requires PLC, HVAC, and P&ID familiarity, strong problem solving, safety compliance, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor's with 5 years or an Associate with 10 years in a GMP environment, and proficiency with Blue Mountain CMMS and Siemens

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in GMP environments.
• Associate degree with 10 years of GMP experience.
• 5–10 years of related instrumentation and equipment experience in GMP environment.
• Experience using CMMS (Blue Mountain).
• Experience using Building Management Systems (Siemens Desigo/Insight).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, routine and corrective maintenance of CTUs, process utility systems, and manufacturing/laboratory instruments.
• Calibrate and maintain instruments to set standards; read and interpret indicators.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems and repair as needed.
• Inspect facility, equipment and systems for compliance and functionality.
• Monitor alarms from the BMS/QEMS and respond accordingly.
• Support Metrology to investigate OOT events and root causes.
• Read engineering drawings including P&IDs, floor plans, and power diagrams.
• Write incident/deviation reports and perform corrective actions.
• Receive, filter and execute work order requests.
• Ensure repairs comply with building codes; coordinate with vendors.
• Provide On-Call support as needed.
