Job summary

Department of Veterans' Services - Flagstaff is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide geriatric nursing care, treatment and services in a professional and prescribed manner. You will supervise and train subordinate staff and observe resident conditions under a physician's supervision.

You will document observations, administer treatments, and lead with limited supervision on assignments while coordinating with the care plan.

Qualifications

• Arizona Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• COVID vaccine or declination will be emailed.
• Hep B vaccine or declination will be emailed.
• TB skin test required.
• Skills checklist to be sent separately when documents are received.

Responsibilities

• Provide geriatric nursing care, treatment and services.
• Oversee and train subordinate staff on resident care.
• Observe and report resident behavior and physical condition; administer treatments per plan.
