Job summary

Cascades in Birmingham, AL is seeking a General Labor to support on-the-floor production. You will operate forklifts, prep materials, and perform quality tests while adhering to safety standards. Training starts on the day shift for about a month before moving to the night shift.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, some manufacturing experience, and basic computer skills (SAP a plus). A strong safety mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED requirement.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Some computer experience; SAP is a plus.
• Strong safety mindset is critical.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift and clamp truck safely.
• Prepping raw material at the load stand area.
• Perform raw material and finished goods quality tests.
• Prepping finished rolls and pallets per packaging instructions.
• Assist in production area as needed.
