Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our freezer division to unload, sort, and put away frozen product in a multi-temperature warehouse. You may also assist in other warehouse duties as needed.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9pm to finish (40 hours weekly) with overtime as required. Candidates must be able to lift 10–80 pounds, stand, walk, and pass a pre-employment drug test. Experience in warehouse/distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 month - 1year warehouse and/or distribution experience operating machine.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate various kinds of powered industrial equipment which may include stand-up or sit-down fork trucks, rider pallet trucks, slip sheeter, and other equipment found in distribution warehousing.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
