Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC in Grand Island, NY seeks a Formulation Supervisor to oversee the Grand Island formulation suites and related cleanroom areas. You will supervise 12–15 staff, ensure compliance with SOPs, DEA, OSHA, and cGMPs, and manage staffing, training, and performance.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe operations, auditing corrective actions, and coordinating with HR, Maintenance, and Quality. Shift is nights: 10PM–6:30AM; salary range with 6% bonus applies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 4–5 years pharmaceutical experience in compounding preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with Antineoplastic products and support Nanotechnology department.
• Heavy lifting: regularly 25 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate systems to manufacture Bulk product and prepare equipment.
• Ensures SOPs are reviewed and updated.
• Provides resources to clean and prepare equipment.
• Trains staff to area curricula and company policies.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Completes investigations, CAPAs and audits timely.
• Collaborates with HR on hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Works with Maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinates with Material Management and Quality on inventory and SAP movements.
• Ensures environmental monitoring, PM, calibration, and re-qualification schedules are met.
