Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a Formulation Supervisor on the Grand Island site to lead the formulation suites and surrounding controlled environments for liquid parenterals. You will oversee staffing, training, safety, and adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements to meet production plans.

You will supervise 12–15 direct reports, coordinate with QA, Engineering and Material Management, and drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, process safety, and batch

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED. BS/BA in Science related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred.
• 4-5 years of pharmaceutical experience in compounding preferred.
• Working knowledge of SOP's and cGMP's rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Must be able to work with Antineoplastic products and assist in the Nanotechnology department.
• Heavy lifting is required. (Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs without strain.)

Responsibilities

• Supervise formulation suites and coordinate related environmental areas.
• Ensure production schedules and SOPs are followed.
• Train and develop staff; manage hiring and discipline.
• Collaborate with HR, Maintenance, and Quality to address issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure corrective actions for investigations and audit observations are completed on time.
• Work with HR on policy changes and hiring decisions.
• Assist with equipment reliability and design of new systems/facilities.
• Coordinate with Material Management and Quality on inventory and SAP processes.
• Ensure environmental monitoring and PM/calibration schedules are met.
