Job summary

Plastipak Packaging is seeking a Backup Yard Driver in Jackson Center, OH. The role involves operating a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods, loading and unloading trucks, and repositioning trailers in the yard with strict adherence to safety rules and SAP standards.

Night shifts run 5:00 pm to 5:10 am on a rotating 2-week cycle, with Sundays paid at double time. A high school diploma (or GED), valid driver’s license, and forklift and semi-trailer experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience.
• Six months of semi-trailer driving experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials between warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks for Shipping & Receiving.
• Move trailers in yard and secure/lock them until released.
• Follow all safety rules, BOS work instructions, and SAP standards.
