Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Jackson Center, OH is seeking a Backup Yard Driver to safely move materials between the warehouse and production areas, operate a forklift, and load and unload trucks.

This 12-hour night shift runs 5:00 pm to 5:10 am on a 3-2-2-3 cycle with every other weekend off, plus Sunday double-time pay. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and forklift plus semi-trailer driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks and moving materials between areas.
• Ability to back up and secure trailers in yard areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks for Shipping & Receiving.
• Back up trailers from yard to docks and secure them until release.
• Follow safety rules, BOS work instructions, and SAP standards.
