Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Material Handler for Rochelle, Illinois, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a pathway to build a career in supply chain.

The role operates on a second shift (5:30 pm - 4:00 am, Mon-Fri) with weekends off unless required, handling dry foods with Electric Pallet Jacks and sit-down forklifts. A valid forklift license and 1+ year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance guidelines and quality standards.
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
