Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Rochelle, IL is hiring a Material Handler to operate in a clean, safe facility. The role includes forklift operation on the second shift (5:30 pm–4:00 am, Mon-Fri with weekends off unless mandated) with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will handle loading, picking, packing, shipping and cycle counting in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), forklift license, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift and assist with cycle counting and staging of products.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and support the automated packing system during shifts.
• Adhere to safety practices and perform duties with minimal supervision.
