Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in Riverdale Park, MD is seeking a forklift operator to safely load and unload deliveries, receive merchandise, and stock pallets for the club’s daily operations.

You will drive a forklift, use a pallet jack, and help keep aisles organized while delivering friendly service to Members. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, following safety standards, and assisting with loading trucks during shipments.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner and inspects it prior to use.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Receives all merchandise and prepares pallets for storage or shipment.
• Transports merchandise and pallets using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and food items.
• Greet Members and provide prompt, courteous service.
