Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a forklift operator at our Linden, NJ location. You will load and unload merchandise, inspect delivery trucks, and move pallets throughout the club to keep shelves stocked and accessible for Members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks.
• Inspect and prepare delivery trucks for unloading and receiving merchandise.
• Transport merchandise and pallets throughout the club using pallet jacks as needed.
• Stock and rotate general merchandise and food items to ensure shelves are full.
• Maintain club cleanliness and organization; assist customers and locate merchandise.
