Job summary

Stratas Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator in Production to support nightly operations in Dallas. The role includes forklift operation, material handling, and adherence to safety procedures while performing housekeeping and load coordination on production lines.

The schedule is Sunday-Thursday (10:00pm-6:30am) with some weekend work and OT. Candidates should be certified, able to handle hazardous materials, and proficient with pallet transfers and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Must be trained and certified on the forklift.
• Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling.
• Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers.
• Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.
• Load trucks in the prescribed manner.
• Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets.
• Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner.
• Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors.
• Must be able to understand the inventory procedure.
• Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations.
• Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely in production areas and maintain housekeeping.
• Assist with lifting, material handling, and staging for production lines.
• Support inventory processes and correct picking/packing procedures.
• Coordinate with operators to ensure timely load and delivery.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
