Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Newnan, GA is hiring a forklift operator to safely move merchandise, load and unload delivery trucks, inspect pallets, and prepare items for the sales floor while delivering a positive service experience to Members.

The role requires standing and moving on hard surfaces, ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently, and willingness to train for certification. Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required; successful completion of training is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift operating experience preferred but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspects forklifts prior to use and follows safety standards.
• Loads and unloads merchandise to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading.
• Stocking, rotating and storing general merchandise and food merchandise.
• Assists Members in locating merchandise and provides courteous service.
