Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Watchung, NJ is seeking a forklift operator to move merchandise, load and unload delivery trucks, and stock the floor for easy member access.

You’ll complete required training and certification, follow safety standards, and help ensure a clean, organized club while delivering prompt member service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading.
• Accurately receives all merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Transports pallets safely throughout the club and uses a pallet jack as needed.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise and maintains a neat, organized club.
• Performs daily club openings/closings and assists Members in locating merchandise.
