Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced forklift operator to support heavy equipment operations at our industrial sites. The role involves loading and moving materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards are followed.

The candidate should be capable of working on varied surfaces and conditions in a construction‑industrial environment. You will be involved in trenching, road maintenance, and supporting crews with tool usage and safety training as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Operator in an industrial setting.
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and large heavy equipment while performing maintenance and repairs on roads and rights-of-way.
• Load gravel, dirt and sand; smooth and grade roads; spread rock and gravel.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts, water pipes and sewer pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Check fluid levels and lubrication; maintain equipment.
• Instruct and train employees in safe operation and job techniques.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify defects.
