Job summary

P.J. Keating Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Night Shift Forklift Operator for construction operations. You will support field crews, manage material movement, and help ensure safe, timely project execution on heavy highway work.

Strong attention to safety and the ability to read plans are important. Responsibilities include coordinating with foremen, supervising equipment use, and assisting with daily timecards and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate's or bachelor's in construction management, civil eng, or related field.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of roadway, bridge, asphalt paving, grading, drainage and utility construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction activities and project execution.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials and subcontractors to meet production goals.
• Support planning and implementation of weekly and daily work plans.
• Monitor construction progress and identify potential schedule impacts.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Promote safety policies and conduct daily safety briefings.
