Job summary

Baltimore-based BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a forklift operator to support receiving, stocking, and merchandise movement throughout the club. You will load and unload deliveries, inspect trucks, and ensure pallets and merchandise are handled safely and efficiently to keep shelves stocked and ready for Members.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in receiving, and friendly member service as you help maintain a clean, organized club environment and participate in opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Forklift operating experience preferred but not required
• Must complete required training and certification processes
• Environment may involve freezer/cooler exposure and loud equipment

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads merchandise to and from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading.
• Receives all merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Lifts, reserves and drops pallets for storage and sales areas.
• Stocks, rotates, and stores general and food merchandise.
• Maintains club cleanliness and organization.
• Greets Members and provides prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Participates in daily club openings and closings.
