Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join its dock team in a non climate-controlled environment. You will efficiently load and unload freight, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure freight is secured inside trailers while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator
• Available to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use motorized and manual equipment including forklift and pallet jack
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Work safely following company safety policies
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods
