Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Barberton, OH is seeking an entry-level full-time Inspector to safely operate production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided; the role offers a 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM schedule with a base pay of $20.61/hr plus a $1.00/hr shift differential.

You will inspect, scan, and move materials using a forklift, adhering to safety standards and quality targets while contributing to efficient production and on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
• Tow motor experience required.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and operate vehicle safely.
• Ability to follow all safety instructions, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-shift inspection of assigned forklift.
• Operates forklift to move materials between stations and respond to radio calls.
• Uses a scanner to track inbound/outbound product in Oracle ERP/WIP Management.
• Loads and unloads products from trailers.
