Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Barberton, OH is seeking an entry-level, full-time inspector to operate in a production environment with a 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM schedule. The position pays $23.03 per hour and includes training to develop inspection skills.

You will follow safety procedures, perform compliance checks, visually inspect wheels for defects, ensure parts meet dimensional and appearance standards, and complete required paperwork. Training will be provided to support growth in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures
• Performs compliance checks and completes paperwork, documentation, and reports
• Visually inspects wheels for defects or malformations
• Ensures the quality of the parts that he/she produces - including the inspection of all dimensional requirements according to the control plan and overall appearance of the parts
• Completes required paperwork
• Participates in TPM activities
• Ensures that 5S requirements are met
• Assists in problem solving of identified problems in the department
