Job summary

Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. in Texas is seeking an entry-level Night Shift Forklift/Material Handler for the Solar Pile fabrication facility. You will load, unload, and transport materials using heavy forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic English and math skills.
• 1–2 years of mobile equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment while following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large forklifts, overhead cranes, and other mobile equipment.
• Load/unload materials and manage conveyor infeed/outfeed.
• Follow production schedule and maintain accurate production records.
• Perform quality checks on paint color, bar quality, and specs.
• Comply with ISO standards and 5S and safety guidelines.
