CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for a Freight Handler Lead that has a safety-first mindset and effective communications skills. This role requires leading by example, taking accountability for your team, and having the capacity to complete daily warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to ninety (90) pounds.
• Previous forklift experience – preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience - preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members are on time and ready for work.
• Inspect the dock to make sure it is a clean and safe work environment.
• Coordinate dock operations with dispatch.
• Meet with Operations Supervisors for daily assignments.
• Assist with loading and unloading a wide variety of freight.
