Job summary

Kerry Byesville facility in Ohio is hiring a Production Sanitation Technician to support safe, compliant food production. You will partner with production and maintenance to perform routine sanitation, CIP/COP cleaning, chemical handling, and logs while maintaining a clean, safe plant environment.

The role requires high attention to safety, the ability to stand for long periods, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18+.
• Manufacturing sanitation, food or chemical production experience preferred.
• Chemical handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Pallet jack or forklift experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
• Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and plant areas using set schedules.
• Performing CIP/COP cleaning on tanks, pipes, and equipment.
• Safely handling and documenting sanitation chemicals.
• Removing trash and debris to maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Operating pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
• Completing sanitation logs and follow GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and safety standards.
• Working with a team that values safety, quality, and accountability.
