Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a dedicated night-shift cleaner to maintain a sanitary production area and support food safety. You will follow cleaning schedules, operate power washers and hand tools, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety rules.

Typical hours are 6pm–6am for nights, with a 100% facility environment. You will disassemble/reassemble equipment, set up gear for the next day, and report materials in the ERP system while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and fill out reports.
• Skill for recognition of new opportunities and problem solving.
• Ability to work in a multi-task, deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability on a daily basis, walking, standing, crouching, lifting (25-50lbs), twisting, climbing, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned area with attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Know and apply cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules using power washers, hoses and tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Set up equipment and supplies for the next day's production.
• Report and record materials in the ERP system.
• Follow safety and GMP practices and report unsafe conditions.
