Biery Cheese Co. in Louisville, OH is seeking a Sanitation Technician 1 to learn GMP, SQF, and food safety procedures; this entry-level role focuses on training and onboarding while developing proficiency in sanitation operations, chemical handling, and the seven steps of sanitation.

During the training period, you will move toward Sanitation Technician 2 after demonstrating proficiency. The position requires attendance and reliability with shift work Monday–Friday 10:55pm–7:00am, base pay

• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail is a must, and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments.

Responsibilities

• Learn and establish proficiency in sanitation operating procedures
• Learn and establish proficiency in proper use of chemicals during sanitation activities
• Learn and establish proficiency in the 7 steps of sanitation
• Learn and establish proficiency on how to clean drains
• Learn and establish proficiency on how to foam and scrub floors
• Learn and establish proficiency in how to titrate chemicals
• Learn plant floor and operations
• Other duties and/or projects may be assigned.
