Job summary

Magnolia Foods, Llc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Operator for its Mira Loma, CA facility. The role focuses on accurate mixing per updated formulas, GMPs and food safety procedures, operating and cleaning machinery, and maintaining logs of production data.

The position requires reliability, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work night shifts from 9:45 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Training on equipment and quality controls provided.

Qualifications

• Punctual, dependable and able to complete tasks efficiently.

• Ability to understand and follow policies and safety rules written in English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Plant, State, and Federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, SQF).
• Avoid using damaged or defective materials (color, appearance, expired).
• Verify products in process meet specifications (color, appearance, diameter, weight).
• Start up and shut down machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machinery temperature to meet product specs.
• Clean machinery daily per sanitation standards.
• Accurately document information in mixing logs.
• Report product discrepancies or equipment issues to Lead and Supervisor immediately.
• Follow all quality assurance, SQF and food safety standards.
• Adhere to plant safety procedures at all times.
• Wear appropriate PPE and attire.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures when required.
• Support wastewater management practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
