Night Shift: Food Plant Sanitation Technician

MìLà seeks a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize production equipment, processing areas, and facility spaces to keep the plant safe, sanitary, and compliant with food safety standards. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor with a night shift 8:00pm to 4:30am.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, performing WIP procedures, following LOTO rules, applying chemicals per SDS, and maintaining sanitation records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in sanitation or food manufacturing preferred but not required; training provided.
• Familiarity with PPE and safety procedures is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow SSOPs and SDS.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, drains, and overhead areas.
• Perform Wash in Place (WIP) procedures on processing equipment.
• Take apart and reassemble equipment for cleaning following LOTO procedures.
• Prepare, dilute, and apply cleaning chemicals per SDS and supplier instructions.
• Complete sanitation records accurately including checklists and logs.
• Follow allergen cleaning and changeover procedures to prevent cross-contact.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and other common areas as scheduled.
• Report sanitation problems, equipment damage, pest activity, or unsafe conditions.
• Support QA during pre-operational inspections, swabbing, and audits.
• Wear PPE and follow GMPs and safety procedures.
