Job summary

Doumak, Inc. is hiring for Machine Operators at our Bensenville, IL facility. The role involves operating the packaging machine and the case packer to produce quality bags that meet film, code and weight specs. You will assist with change-overs, clean-ups and routine pack-room maintenance.

Shifts include 3rd (10:00 pm–6:00 am) and 2nd (2:00 pm–10:00 pm). Starting pay is $18.00/hour with raises after 1–4 years of service; weekend work may be required and overtime/double time apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; must read and write English and understand basic math.
• Must be able to regularly lift 40 pounds.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred, confectionery a plus.
• We will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging machine and the case packer to produce quality bags.
• Ensure bags meet film, code, weight and product specifications.
• Assist with change-overs, clean ups and general maintenance of the pack room.
• Weekend work may be required; overtime and double time pay will apply.
