Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Flux Core Welders for projects located in or around Henderson, NV. This is a night shift opportunity with pay up to $35/hour based on experience, plus $120 per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the jobsite.

Weld structural steel in fabrication shop environments, read drawings, follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and maintain safety and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• Previous structural steel welding experience required.
• Strong FCAW (Flux-Core Arc Welding) experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience working with heavy structural steel and fabricated assemblies preferred.
• Experience working from WPS requirements.
• AWS or other recognized structural welding certifications preferred.
• Current or expired welding certifications are encouraged.
• Ability to meet welding quality and production standards.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on steel beams, columns, and fabricated assemblies.
• Weld light and heavy structural steel in a fabrication shop environment.
• Complete structural steel prefabrication for data center projects.
• Perform FCAW (Flux-Core Arc Welding) in accordance with project specifications.
• Follow applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, structural prints, and weld symbols.
• Perform groove and fillet welds to required quality standards.
• Inspect completed welds and make necessary corrections or repairs.
• Maintain production requirements while ensuring weld quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by project needs.
