Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Floor Technician for the UT HEALTH NORTH CAMPUS in Texas. This full-time role involves overnight weekday shifts and delivering high-quality cleaning to maintain a safe, healthy environment.

Responsibilities include flooring care (sweeping, mopping, machine polishing) and carpet upkeep, with opportunities to train others. Benefits and site-specific perks are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Not Applicable (N/A) for additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned depending on business needs and client requirements.
