Job summary

The Texas Institute of Surgery is seeking a friendly Floor Care Technician to join the hospital's Environmental Services team. HHS Environmental Services, LLC will provide a clean, safe environment where patients can heal, with a focus on floor care, buffing, and bonneting procedures.

This part-time position offers an evening shift, requires reliability and team collaboration, and includes a background check and drug screen. Wage is $18 per hour with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting to maintain floors.
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and best practices.
• Provide friendly, kind service to all individuals in the hospital.
• Assist team members and management to keep the department running efficiently.
