Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Night Shift Environmental Services Technician III (Floor Tech) to maintain floors and cleanliness at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Requires 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience or equivalent; cross-trained to EST I competencies. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more; full-time night shift 10:30 p.m.–7 a.m., every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Floor Tech experience preferred.
• 1 year housekeeping/ESD experience required or in lieu of high school education.
• Healthcare/hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors and cleaning with chemicals, equipment, and tasks.
• Mop, scrub, strip, and polish floors as needed.
• Back-up cleaning duties; cross-trained to EST I competencies.
