Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Full-time Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech) for the night shift in Virginia Beach, VA. You will maintain floor care and cleaning operations with a focus on safety and quality, including mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing.

The role requires HS diploma or GED (preferred) and 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience; Floor Tech experience is a plus, with cross-training to EST I duties to support hospital cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience or equivalent accepted in lieu of HS diploma.
• Floor Tech experience preferred.
• Strong attention to safety when handling chemicals and cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean floors through mopping, scrubbing, stripping and polishing.
• Follow safety procedures and use of chemicals and equipment.
• Cross-train to EST I duties to cover related cleaning tasks as needed.
• Carry out night-shift cleaning tasks and weekend coverage as assigned.
