Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Part-time Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech) for the evening shift to maintain floors and support the Environmental Services Department. The role runs 32 hours per week on evenings, 3 p.m.

to 11:30 p.m., with duties including safe chemical handling and floor cleaning tasks. Ideal candidates will have high school education or equivalent; 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience is required, with healthcare/hospitality background preferred and

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.
• Previous Healthcare/Hospitality Experience preferred.
• Floor Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of floors.
• Practice safe work habits with chemicals, equipment, and cleaning methods (mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, polishing).
