Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is hiring a Floor Technician in Robstown, TX. This full-time role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment to keep facilities safe and presentable.

The ideal candidate will have experience with auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, floor polishers, and wet/dry vacuums, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Monday–Friday, 8:00 pm to 4:30 am, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating floor machines and floor care equipment
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing)
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming)
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
