Job summary

Compass Group USA, ESFM division, seeks a Floor Technician in Baytown, TX, to maintain and restore diverse floor surfaces and operate large-scale floor care equipment. Must be able to work nights and pass safety procedures. Previous floor care experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Floor Tech experience; buffing, shampooing, and waxing required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, and spot cleaning.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
