Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard surfaces and carpet at client sites. The role requires operating floor care equipment, following safety procedures, and collaborating with the team to deliver clean, safe facilities.

You will work night or early morning hours, with a schedule of 6 days per week and a 36-hour week. Training on floor waxing is provided and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Able to work in a multi-ethnic environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication with coworkers and store personnel.
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn floor care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping, scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Provides carpet maintenance, including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Performs dusting and restroom area cleaning as needed.
• Operates floor care machines safely and in line with manufacturer instructions.
• Follows safety requirements at all times and documents timekeeping accurately.
• Reports to work on time and communicates any issues to the supervisor.
