Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some cleaning experience preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to understand and follow simple instructions and safety procedures.
• Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and store personnel.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
• Punctuality and reliability in shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard floor care including mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
• Maintain carpeted areas: vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, extraction.
• Clean restrooms and general areas; dust and tidy surroundings.
• Operate floor care machines safely and according to manufacturer instructions.
• Report equipment issues and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE as required.
• Adhere to schedules, document time worked, and communicate with supervisor.
• Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed.
