Maine Veterans' Homes in Augusta, ME seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time Night Shift Float position. You will provide direct care, float between units, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing unit assignments.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
• Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to veteran residents.
• Float between units based on staffing and resident care needs.
• Assess residents and communicate changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Support a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
