Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time nurse aide for the Zone 2 Resource Team (Night Shift). The role involves floating between St. Luke’s, South Shore, Washington County, and other facilities, with 8- or 12-hour night shifts.

Requires flexibility, basic clinical skills, and the ability to work under RN supervision. Perks include higher pay with float and NOC differentials, self-scheduling, and limited holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute inpatient experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing per State Registry.
• Proficient with computers and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Record vitals and patient data in EMR; monitor and report changes.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Collect specimens and assist with point-of-care testing as directed.
• Stock and maintain nursing area; transport supplies as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; coordinate with care team.
