Job summary

ProAmpac in Hartford, WI is seeking a Press Specialist to safely operate a flexographic printing press, set up job jackets, verify raw materials, calibrate gauges, and run a clean, climate-controlled line through the shift.

You will monitor color and registration, retain print samples for quality records, label WIP and finished rolls, and communicate non-conformities to supervisors. The role includes 12-hour shifts and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience running similar flexographic equipment preferred.
• Comfort with physical demands and a strong attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Operate a flexographic printing press safely and efficiently.
• Match printed results to job jacket specs and artwork standards.
• Maintain print samples for quality records; label WIP and finished rolls.
• Communicate non-conformities to Supervisor/Lead or Quality Assurance Technician.
• Verify raw materials are approved and use calibrated testing tools.
• Perform setup and end-of-run clean-up; follow food safety and SQF GMPs.
• Report any safety concerns and ensure a clean, climate-controlled work area.
