Job summary

AWT is seeking a skilled press operator at our Grand Blanc, Michigan facility. The role runs Monday through Friday, 5:30 pm to 2:00 am, with potential additional hours for production needs.

You will operate flexographic equipment to produce labels, maintain press setup, and document processes for traceability. Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to lift 30+ pounds, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must manufacture product according to assigned schedule.
• Must complete paperwork to record and provide evidence of manufacture to internal and customer specs.
• Performs daily press maintenance as defined.
• Uses tooling with care according to manufacturers recommendations.
• Reports mechanical issues and documents.

Responsibilities

• Practices safe work habits according to press practices and warning labels.
• Maintains an organized work space daily.
• Sets jobs up according to documented process setups.
• Works with finishing operators to produce high quality product.
• Notifies quality if any nonconforming condition occurs and initiates containment.
